2 pounds Stew meat
1 onion
6 carrots
3 potatoes
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon tapioca (if using potatoes) 2 tablespoons
(without potatoes)
1 1/2 cups tomatoe juice (V-8 is good)
2 stalks celery

Place ingredients in 2 quart casserole or crock pot, cover and bake on low for 4 or 5 hours – 6 to 7 hours in the crock pot.
