DEVIL'S FOOD CAKE
Recipe By : Serving Size : 20 Preparation Time: 0:00 Categories : Cakes 1 cup butter 2 cups sugar 4 eggs 2 1/2 cups flour 1 cup buttermilk 4 tablespoons cocoa 1 teaspoon soda 1 teaspoon vanilla 1/4 teaspoon salt Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs - 1 at a time. Stirring well after each. Dissolve cocoa in 1/2 cup buttermilk. Dissolve soda in the other 1/2 cup buttermilk. Add with dry ingredients a little at a time. Add flavoring. Bake in layers 30 minutes - sheet pan 40 to 45 min. Test. 350 Degrees. Description: "Cake" Yield: "2 layers"
