FRIED POTATO PATTIES
Recipe By : Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time: 0:00 Categories : Vegetables 4 medium potatoes, peeled and shredded 1 small onion, finely chopped 1 egg beaten 1 tablespoon flour 1 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper 1/8 teaspoon red pepper Vegetable oil Squeeze potatoes between paper towels to remove excess moisture. Combine all ingredients except vegetable oil, mixing well. Drop 1/4 cup of potato mixture at a time into 1/8 inch hot oil (375°); press into 3-inch rounds with the back of a fork. Fry until golden brown, turning once, if necessary. Drain well.
