Â¼ cup butter, softened
Â½ cup sugar
Â½ tsp. cinnamon
Â½ tsp. cloves
Â¼ tsp. salt
1 cup corn syrup
1 cup old fashioned rolled oats
Preheat oven to 350Âº.
Cream butter and sugar. Add cinnamon, cloves, and salt. Stir in corn syrup. Add eggs, 1 at a time. Stir in oatmeal. Pour mixture into an unbaked 9â€ pie shell.
Bake for 50 – 60 minutes. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream and fresh berries.
Variation: Add chopped apples and/or 1 cup raisins.
May be frozen.
